Retiring HBCR VP, Jonathan Juchnevics, was awarded the 2023 Mike Egan Volunteer of the Year Award (NH) by the Boston Red Sox and the Red Sox Foundation during an on the field ceremony on September 23, 2023.

As we finish up our year and many of our current board members conclude their terms, we wanted to take a minute to recognize Jon Juchnevics. We are sure you are all well aware of Jon's level of commitment, time spent, and attention to detail over the past two years as vice president of our board.

Jon's commitment to our organization and Hollis/Brookline's youth baseball programs this past year did not go unnoticed by many influential people, including our very own Boston Red Sox!

Congratulations to Jon as he will be honored by the Red Sox as the Youth Baseball Volunteer of the Year from New Hampshire!

Thank you Jon for helping make HBCR one of the most fun places to experience baseball in New Hampshire! We appreciate your efforts and are happy to see our volunteers doing such great work.

You have set the standard high for our organization and even though we need someone to help fill your role next year, you have made the blueprint for success and it will make it easier for those after you. Anyone interested in helping fill some of our vacant board positions, please reach out. We need more volunteers on our board.
